The record you hand to a reviewer.

One complete client year, exactly as RemoteTravel keeps it: every trip with dates, day counts by jurisdiction, the position against each test applied, and a timestamp showing when each entry was logged. It follows the shape of the day-count schedules that sit behind a residency position.

Two ways a reviewer re-checks Singapore, both in this schedule: sum the Days on the Singapore arrival rows in the movement log below (they foot to 194), or take 365 less 171 full days outside Singapore. Same number either way.

Expiries sit next to the day counts, so a lapsing visa is visible before it becomes a status problem in the file. Reminders go to the client, so the firm never chases a renewal date.

Sample data; M. Tan is fictional and routes are illustrative. Each jurisdiction's own part-day rule applies, set at firm onboarding, so a movement day counts in both the country left and the country entered, and totals across jurisdictions can exceed 365.

Source shows how each entry was captured; manual entry ships today, photo-metadata and location capture arrive with the imports noted above. The Logged column shows when the entry was created. Timestamps are stored from day one; showing them on shared records is in development.

For firms

Set up around how your firm works.

The record above is the default. During onboarding we adjust it with you, working directly with the founding team, before your first client logs a trip.

Tell us how your reviewers want it. Contact us.

  • Tests and directions. Choose which residency tests are applied for each client, as limits to stay under or goals to keep, matched to the jurisdictions your practice actually files in. For clients maintaining residency in more than one jurisdiction, the schedule shows explicit presence periods for each residency jurisdiction instead of deriving one by complement.

  • Counting conventions. Part-day treatment and day-count rules set per jurisdiction to match the positions you take.

  • Record format. Naming, column order, and summary layout aligned to your firm's working paper style, including white-labeled records issued under your firm's branding.
